Riverview Shares Mask Recommendations - May 2022

Dear Riverview Community,

We have seen a recent uptick in positive COVID-19 cases in our schools. At this point, we are not requiring masks. However, there are a few recommendations from Public Health - Seattle King County that will help keep our students and staff healthy and safe.

  • It is highly recommended that all students, staff, and volunteers wear a well-fitting mask for the next three weeks, while we try to slow the spread.

  • If you are feeling sick, please stay home.

  • If you experience symptoms, or test positive for COVID-19, lease follow the Department of Health guidance, found here: Symptom Flowchart.

  • Utilize the district testing program, available from 7:00 – 8:00 a.m. and 2:30 – 3:30 p.m., each school day, at the Riverview ESC in Duvall.

  • Preventative hygiene, such as handwashing, disinfecting surfaces, etc., will also help slow the spread of COVID-19.

Thank you for your continued support and for doing your part to keep our community healthy and safe in mitigating the transmission of COVID-19.

Sincerely,

Molly Lutz Director, Student Services Riverview School District
