WHAT IS THE RIVERVIEW AMBASSADORS PROGRAM?
The Purpose:
The purpose of the Riverview School District Ambassador Program is to gain a deeper understanding of the day-to-day operations of the school district. People who complete this program become Riverview Ambassadors in the community, which leads to better communication and understanding of the Riverview School District. This program includes information on leadership, communications, strategic direction, educational programs, student services, technology, human resources, facilities, operations and school finance.
When are the sessions? Where are the sessions held?
All sessions run 60 minutes, from 5:30 p.m. until 6:30 p.m., in the Riverview School District ESC Assembly Hall in Duvall. The final session is a bus tour with our Transportation and Maintenance Supervisors. That session will begin at 4:00 p.m. and run for 90 minutes.
For the in-person sessions for the 2022 Program, masks will be required for all presenters, participants, and attendees.
Who can participate?
Any adult or student (Grades 9-12, preferably) that lives within the Riverview School District boundary, has students in the Riverview School District, or is an employee of the district.
