Riverview School District is preparing for another year of Rec & Rally, and community volunteers are needed to help make the program a success.

Rec & Rally provides students with opportunities to connect, socialize and participate in recreational activities outside the regular school day. Volunteers play an essential role in supporting these activities and helping create a welcoming, engaging environment for students.

This year's program will feature a new schedule, with Rec & Rally moving from its previous 5-7 p.m. time slot to 6-8 p.m. on Thursdays.

Two introductory events are planned for Nov. 19 and Dec. 3, with regular programming expected to continue on most Thursdays in 2027.

As preparations get underway, Tolt is encouraging parents, staff and community members to consider volunteering. Whether helping supervise activities or supporting event operations, volunteers make it possible to offer this opportunity to students.
